"He is Allah, there is no God but He, He has asmaa'ul husna (good names)." (Thaa-Haa 20: 8)

The number of Asmaul Husna is 99 names, as mentioned in the hadith narrated by Tirmidhi, reinforced by the hadith of hadith.
From Abu Hurairah ra he said the Prophet Muhammad said: "Verily, Allah Swt has 99 names, one hundred less one, the one who calculates it (memorize it all) is entered into heaven" (Narrated by Bukhari).
