As of June 1, 2021, the new system to set the price of electricity came into force. The old PVPC (Small Consumer Voluntary Price) is now called the 2.0TD rate and replaces the 2.0 A (1 period), 2.0 DH (2 periods), 2.0 DHS (3 periods), 2.1 A, 2.1 DHA and 2.1 DHSA rates and It is valid for powers less than 15kW.
Typically, an average home in Spain has a contracted power between 3.3 kW and 5.5 kW.
This new rate has 6 electricity periods depending on the area of Spain (Peninsula, Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla), month of the year and day of the week (Monday, weekend, holiday)
How to use the AhorraLuz application ?
It is impossible to be easier:

❷ Select your area: Peninsula, Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Ceuta or Melilla
❸ And you will have the result ready with the Kw/hour prices for that day's time slot.

Keep in mind that the nomenclature they use on the web goes from Hour 1 (from 00:00 to 00:59) to Hour 24 (from 23:00 to 23:59).
