Bajka - a short literary work containing moral (instruction), it is often poemed, sometimes playful. The moral may be at the beginning (promythium) or at the end (epimythium) of the song or result from its content. Allegoricality is an important feature of the fairy tale. The heroes of fairy tales can be people, as well as animals, objects and phenomena that embody human types, character traits or opposing views and positions. It is one of the epic variations, although the epigramatic fairy tale has a lot of lyrical features.

Magic (fantastic) fairy tale - sometimes called a fairy tale or klechdzie, is the most typical and characteristic specimen of a folk fairy tale, "the right tale", as it is sometimes said. The terms that apply to it define its basic feature, admixture or even the advantage of fictitious, fantastic, miraculous or magic elements over real, human ones. These are the same elements that occur in religion, arise from old magical beliefs, and they differ from religious beliefs only because they have no official recognition, they do not enter the canon of beliefs represented by one or another religious organization.
