Do you enjoy listening to Blinkist in your car? With this update, we've changed the audio settings to get rid of unnecessary interruptions. As of now, when your navigation system starts to give you directions, the book-in-blinks you're listening to will pause. It will resume playing once the directions are finished. This means that no big idea will pass you by (no matter how long and winding the road). Beep beep 'n' beep beep, yeah!
Did you know that key changes can have big effects? In this release we made a few key changes which will have a big impact on your reading and listening experience. The main tabs in the home screen are now called Home, Explore, and Library. We've also relocated Search, Categories, and Curated Lists with recommendations from our curators to the Explore tab so you can discover even more. The Library got a remodel, too, with your Favorites and Highlights from the books-in-blinks all in one place.

Noticing better book recommendations lately? That's thanks to our new-and-improved recommender system. We also fixed a bug (in) For You: books that are already in your library will now disappear and a new recommendation will appear in its place
Read on (and on and on and on!) with this update. At the end of every book-in-blinks, you can find a recommendation of what to read next, chosen by our editorial team. With this release, these recommended related titles are now linked. This means that once you finish one book-in-blink you can immediately start to read the next—so you can keep learning with zero fuss.
Transparency rules! Before this version, to cancel a Blinkist trial or subscription, you had to access the Google Play Store settings. Now, you can find a direct link to cancel your Blinkist trial or subscription in the settings of the Blinkist app itself. This means that if you choose to cancel ("Please don't!" -- Ed.), you can do so with one click. Further, in the app settings, you can also find the status of your subscription or trial so you can easily track when it's due to renew or expire.

New: set your preferences so that audio books-in-blinks download when you add them to your library. Also new: enable mobile data downloads in your settings, too (default setting will download only when you're connected to wifi). And there's more: now supporting Smart Lock!
