This game is pretty good from what I was able to play. Unfortunately, I never got enough free time to finish story mode in one sitting. No matter what device I was on or if I was connected to Google play games, it just would not save. I never got to try multiplayer, spent too much time replaying story mode unwillingly. Arcade mode was fun but (not sure if it was just my device) started super slow. Always a visual glitch in the beginning where it says you could've spelt a word as it loads in

As a long time fan of The Oatmeal, this game is a treat. The single player mode is highly entertaining & serves as a great tutorial on how to play. The "mulitplayer" mode where you play against opponents is addictive. Best of all, I don't feel like it's sole existence is to make me spend money or sit through ads. Only issue so far is when I encounter errors in the game the page just freezes or crashes with no alert or way out besides quitting the app. Fix that & it'll be perfect.

Okay, so I figured out the issue and modified my review. Nowhere does the game tell you that the story/campaign is also the tutorial, which might be important. The story is super fun. I love word games and only had to replay the final level over to beat it. However it is freezing when I get to the form at the end. It won't let me sign it. Perhaps it's for my own good. I love all the little mechanics. Highly recommended, just be sure to go through the story first. Maybe a "start here" button?
