About this app

LectO is a free text editor that makes it easier for people with dyslexia to read and write through the use of colors, pictograms, and listening resources. It is developed by four 17-year-old Argentine students, and today it already helps more than 5k people from more than 35 countries.

Detailed functions:
- Special font: use of 'Open Dyslexic', a font created for people with dyslexia.
- Colored letters: configure each letter to appear a certain color, to differentiate confusing letters.
- Pictograms: differentiate confusing words through images that are displayed just by hovering the mouse over them.
- Read aloud: the computer reads the text by aural, with variable speed and other functions.
- Microsoft Word compatibility: Word files can be opened directly from the application.
- Reading physical texts: upload images of physical texts to the application and read them with all the functions that LectO has.
