Horrible, I've lived in 2 apartments that have moved to the Latch app and I absolutely hate it. The "Hold near to unlock" feature never works, and even if it did a regular fob would be much easier anyway. I'm using the Android version and there does not seem to be an update option in the app and the version is not listed on Google Play so I'm not even sure if I'm on the most current version.

It works, but it doesn't work well. my phone died, and i got caught in the rain outside my apartment building. i had to wait 1.5 hours for my roommate to come back in order to get inside. having a phone needing bluetooth, NFC, and wifi instead of a regular key and lock is a faulty system with plenty of things that can and will go wrong. it logs me out and sometimes flat out refuses to open a door. i dont have access to the gym or the stairwell and nobody can fix it. avoid this system if you can.

Update: Still not working well with android. Using pixel 8. Better experience on iOS with the just tap feature. Also it's cost $80 a month on top of your rent. Original: Unable to install on pixel watch 2. doesn't work super well on Android 14. nfc still requires manual button press to unlock. better experience on iOS as I could just use watch with unlock
