The app uses background location to notify you that your order is ready for collection in our branch using the mobile app. It sends you a notification if, for example, you are on your way from work, passing by our branch where your order is waiting. With this feature, you won't forget to pick up your order.

Most ridiculous setup. I've been using it for years. When I get out of the house, my dualnsim phone uses the data from my German SIM. The smartass guy who designed the app thought it's a great idea to automatically switch me to the German Alza. I cannot even use the app to pick up my freaking order. The backend developers didn't think too much... At least freaking ask me if I want so switch to the German eShop, don't log me out. And trying to switch back it's impossible while on mobile data...

Useless. Google logins don't work. I wonder how you could let a feature like that slip 🤷 Re Alza feedback - clearing caches or reinstalling doesn't fix the issue. Your app is indeed broken.

The app always returns to home screen and the complex filters I've set up disappear whenever I switch to another app for more than a minute. Stuff like order tracking and order pickups work great, but definitely just use the web version when searching for products
