What a disaster. Had the latest version installed. All had been working fine. Suddenly not logging in. Advice is uninstall and reinstall...on same phone it then needs me to verify my same phone number and then will post me a code to my address. No mobile banking in meantime. Can't even log in on the laptop because this had to be authorised by the app. How can AIB get it so wrong?

The app was great. Really convenient and easy to use. During pandemic became even more important. However, following latest upgrade it simply stops working. Tells me I am using a Rooted device which I do not believe I am. I uninstall the app reinstall it go through the initial setup and it works again. Within 24 hours it goes back to the old message you are using a Rooted device and so the process begins again. This is my sixth time having to reinstall the app. Really annoying and disappointing.

A good app, when it works... I like this app and it is quite easy to use. So why the 3 stars? Because it is absolutely infuriating when it goes down, which seems to coincide with every time is updated. Can't log in, can't interact with your money, you get stuck in an loop of updating that never ends. Very very annoying because you can't access the website either when it's in this state (you phone is your security authenticator) so, dead on as long as you don't mind the odd 24hrs without access!!
