GreekBack is an Android app with unique accessibility enhancements for the Greek language, which is primarily targeted at People with Disabilities. It's specifically designed to work best with the TalkBack screen reader. It contains a Text-to-Speech engine, the only one that reads Greek everywhere: SMS, e-mails, web pages, device usage, etc., and can be used by any application that uses Text-to-Speech . Also, GreekBack includes two additional features that optimize user access: "Where I'm Back" and "SMS Projector".

- Includes the pesto speech synthesis engine! TTS for Android with Simos low-pitch voice, which installs as a speech synthesizer in Android Text-to-Speech Exit settings and can be used by any app. The voice uses a dipole technology and has mechanical tones . - The only speech composer that reads Greek in all SMS messages.
- The only speech composer that reads full-fledged shortcuts to Android icons, selections and dates.
- Provides correct pronunciation on SMS, e-mails, web pages and other Greek texts that otherwise have problems in the mix of Greek and Latin characters.
- Provides detailed reading of abbreviations and phone numbers to be user-savvy.
- It is ultra fast, lightweight and does not overload the other phone features.
- Works neatly with Talkback and responds instantly to user movements, even on low-cost devices.
- It has one-touch shortcuts for all accessibility checks on the device
- A "I'm in" touch of a user's position announcement, fully accessible with TalkBack, and with provision for the announcement in English.
- "Clipboard Projector" (SMS) function for the correct display of Greek SMS and reading by any speech composer. This feature requires that you first copy the SMS message you want to read from the Messages application to the Clipboard.
Accessibility testing was done with the participation of volunteers and the Technology Development Association for the Blind.
