RATT has developed an application for mobile phones that use the Android operating system, an application that aims to inform the traveler using
such a phone about the waiting time at the station.
The times displayed in the "x min" format represent real waiting times, calculated based on the GPS position of the vehicle. They can even vary in an upward direction, when the
vehicle has an average speed lower than the one previously sent (the data is sent at an interval of 30 sec.)
The times displayed in the format "hh:mm" represent the time of arrival at the station according to the chart. Compared to the schedule, delays of a few minutes may appear, depending on the traffic.
The interface is simple, trying to facilitate as much as possible the quick access to information. The implementation method allows updates in real time, without an update from the user, all elements being on the RATT server.
The application is called infoTrafic and will be available for download including on the RATT website. Those who wish to download it from the RATT website must follow
the installation instructions that will be made available to them.
