The late Sheikh Ja'afar Mahmoud Adam was born in Daura, in the year 1962 (although sometimes he says 1964). .
The late Sheikh Ja'afar began his screen studies in their house, in the presence of his sister's husband, Malam Haruna, who is also their blood relative.
He was then transferred to a Malam Umaru agarin Koza, about 9km north of Daura, who is also a blood relation between them, which is the reason for his coming to Kano. After they came to Kano with this teacher of his, in the year 1971 (or 1972), they stayed in the school of Malam Abdullahi, a man from the Republic of Niger, but he lives in Fagge neighborhood in Kano.
