YAUDAH - Carolina Giraldo Navarro known professionally as Karol G, is a Colombian singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Medellin, Giraldo launched his career as a teenager, appearing in the Colombian spin-off of The X Factor. Karol G moved to New York City in 2014 to learn more about the music industry and signed with Universal Music Latino. His collaboration with Puerto Rican singer/rapper Bad Bunny "Ahora Me Llama" became his breakthrough hit, and was the lead single for his debut album Unstoppable.
In July 2019, Karol G released "China" in collaboration with Anuel AA, J Balvin, Daddy Yankee, & Ozuna, which became his first music video with over a billion views on YouTube. In May 2019, he released the album Ocean, which was a stylistic change from Unstoppable, incorporating a more relaxed atmosphere in his work. His song "Tusa" with Trinidad rapper Nicki Minaj became an international success.
