We just released a new update for the Android app and not only it includes some bugs fixing, but a new watch all page!
Just a minor update this time around, but a good one none the less! You can now give feedback by going into the profile tab and tapping the “Give feedback” option. Next to that, we've fixed some player issues, a few crash bugs, and on top of that the ChromeCast experience is better than ever!

In this update we added a new feature to the Kids environment to set a timer, so that you can control how long your kids are watching videos. The kids environment is available on tablets when you have the Plus or Kids package. You can find this safe environment in Profile> Kids.
We created a new page in the app for all the sports fans! Go to Watching> Sports to find the new page. On the sports page you will find an overview of all the sports events and programs.
Next to that we also included a nice improvements for all iTV customers: you can set a reminder for a program using the 'three dots'. You will receive a reminder on your device when the program is about to start. You can set a reminder for all programs in the tv guide.

While everyone enjoyed the good weather, we stayed at the office to work on the app. So just sit down, because here comes the list with new functionalities:

In this version, the login is adapted to the new privacy legislation. In some cases you have to enter your login details once. Can not you find it? Click on 'Forgot login details?' in the app.
There it is then ... our favorite (n) update! After this update you can indicate in the TV Guide and Now on TV what your favorite channels are with the heart. These channels then end up in your 'Favorites' filter. When you select it, scrolling through the long list of channels is now a thing of the past!
We also added the option to select a filter for 'Outdoor available'. So you have a handy overview of the channels that you can view on the go.
This update is all about speed: the start page, the guide and the TV viewing page now load much faster. In addition, we have added the possibility to log in with KPN ID: easier and safer! If you prefer to keep logging in with your subscription number: no problem, you can still do this.
Improvements have also been made behind the scenes. The serial title search is now flawless, so tonight you'll be looking at Gray's Anatomy or The Handmaid's Tale again.
This app update is especially for customers with a device from Huawei. A big update for everyone is on the way, please be patient.
The iTV app is no longer working on some Huawei devices. This was caused by an update from Google. If you also suffer from this, it is solved in this version. Unfortunately, therefore, the Chromecast functionality has been temporarily disabled for these devices. If Google has resolved the issues, Chromecast will work again.
We have made a number of improvements in response to your feedback:
- You do not have to wait that long when loading the start page. It's that easy!
- We have fixed a number of crashes related to the long loading
- The problem with maximum volume on the Chromecast has been resolved

From now on it is possible to view the films and series from On Demand also on the road
From now on you watch live TV in HD quality via WiFi. If this causes you to experience a stuck image, you can lower the video quality in the settings. Lowering the video quality also solves the problems with a stuck image on, among other things, Huawei devices.
