This application was designed as a self-protection and deterrence tool in all those cases where you want to have a functional system to keep track of any illegal actions or personal abuse.
The application allows you to make videos with the simultaneous addition of information.
Lock video pro allows you to create videos and encrypt them inside your phone and use them only when needed.
Once the video is created, the file will be encrypted and closed in the phone memory and only visible from the application.
As long as the video file is in "closed" mode, it will not be possible to:
view the videos
edit videos
disclose the videos
move videos (to other memories etc.)
copy videos
open the videos with third-party applications
view the videos from a pc
To ensure maximum protection, the videos will be encrypted until they are unlocked, so that even rooted devices will not be able to open the video and even copying it will remain illegible.
Once the video files have been created, they will all be available in a list but locked and encrypted, only the information relating to the date and time of the creation of the video will be visible (non-editable features), with the possibility of changing the file name delete the video and add the GPS coordinates (with the appropriate function in the settings menu).
The video files created can be unlocked in case of need and the operation will not be reversible, the unlocked videos will be marked as open and available for consultation.
Once the video files are unlocked, they will have both the video creation date and the video unlock date (non-editable features).
As an additional self-protection, the unlocked videos, even if subsequently deleted, will keep a history within the application, which cannot be deleted, of all the unlocked video files with related data (name, creation and unlocking date, gps).

Please note :
During the development of the application we have taken into account that there is no sound when turning the recording on and off, however in some Android customizations the recording on / off sound will be audible.
We found a limitation in Android 10, the maximum recording capacity is 4 MB (equal to 36 minutes of recording), after which the video will stop automatically.This is a limitation of the operating system, later Google solved the problem, with Android 11.
The encryption and decryption time of video files requires a certain amount of time, due to the length of the video to be processed and the power of the processor present in the device. (example : Samsung Exynos 990 processor, video duration : 60 minutes, encryption and decryption time around 45 seconds).
