Nuriddin Khaliknazarov was born in 1968 in the city of Asaka. In 1992 he graduated from the Miri Arab Madrasah, in 1998 from the Tashkent Islamic Institute named after Imam Bukhari, in 2007 from the Ferghana State University.
During his career, he held the positions of imam-khatib of the Ahmadali Makhdum mosque in the city of Asaka, imam-khatib of the Ak-Tepe mosque in Tashkent. Nuriddin Kholiknazarov also worked as a teacher at the Kukeldash madrasah, Sayyid Muhyiddin Makhdum in the Andijan region, as well as the chief imam-khatib of the Andijan region.
In August 2019, Nuriddin Khaliknazarov was appointed chief imam-khatib of Tashkent[3]. On October 19, 2021, at an expanded meeting of the Ulema Council of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, he was elected Chief Mufti of Uzbekistan and Chairman of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan
