This version of NZ COVID Tracer:
- Adds a link to My Vaccine Pass on the Visit Recorded screen if it's stored in Google Pay.
- Allows you to transfer your diary to a new phone by exporting and importing diary entries.
- Allows you to add an entry by following a link.
- If you need to upload your diary to contact tracers, you can now select which entries to include.
This version of the app includes:

This release contains a bugfix for devices using larger text sizes.

- A new diary view splitting your diary by day, to make it easy to see which days you have diary entries and where you may have gaps

This release contains bugfixes for high battery usage and persistent notifications experienced by some devices.
Thanks to everyone who enabled Bluetooth tracing and gave us feedback. This release includes some fixes for issues with battery usage and delays in activating Bluetooth tracing.
This version introduces Bluetooth Tracing. This allows you to use the Exposure Notification System of your phone to anonymously notify people around you if you test positive for COVID-19.
In this version:
- Signing in or signing up is no longer required to use the app, and it no longer requires a password.
- We’ve tidied up the dashboard to make the layout and navigation simpler.
- We've simplified the onboarding process to make it clearer what the app does and how it works.
- There are also a number of bugfixes and improvements across the board to make the app more stable and accessible.
We've updated the QR code scanner to be more reliable, so you should now be able to scan posters faster.
We also found and fixed an issue with the way diary entries were being recorded on some devices.
With this release, contact tracers can now ask you to confirm your name and contact details when sending out a contact alert, so they can get in touch with you about a specific exposure event. Your privacy remains protected - it is your choice whether you respond or not.
This release makes it easier to record the places you have visited when you are out and about. Now when you open the app you'll see the camera screen by default, and you can also keep recording visits if you've been logged out. Just remember to log back in to see your diary entries.
We've also increased the amount of time your diary will now keep your recorded visits for to 60 days, to help contact tracing investigations. You can still edit or delete any visits held on your phone.

We’ve made some updates to the app, including;
- you can now edit and delete your diary entries if you make a mistake or need to add some extra details
- if you are getting a test, you can add your NHI number to the app for easy reference at a testing centre.
- when receiving a contact alert, contact tracers can now give additional details in the message with what to do next
- we’ve also fixed up some bugs
We've added the ability for you to manually add entries to your digital diary, so you can keep track of the places you've been even if they don't have a QR code.
We've also added support for devices running Android 6, made some improvements to accessibility, and fixed up some bugs.
We've found and fixed an issue that prevented poster scanning from working properly in some situations.
We've found and fixed a bug where you weren't prompted to log in again after 30 days which stopped you being able to scan posters. After installing this update you may be asked to log in again.
This release also contains a few other bugfixes and minor updates.

• If you test positive for COVID-19, you can choose to share your recorded locations with contact tracers via the app.
