Along with the vehicles of communication, Father Kleina stands out with his mission of evangelization. Father Luiz Alberto Kleina is parish priest of the Immaculate Conception parish, in the Guabirotuba neighborhood. Prior to that, he was rector of the Shrine of Our Lady of Carmo for 17 and a half years, since 1998.
From the moment he began his role as parish priest in the then parish of Nossa Senhora do Carmo, he began to feed the dream of transforming the place into a Sanctuary. The celebrations of the masses and novenas that preside are transmitted by different radio stations and TV. In addition, he has also had a daily radio program and currently maintains spiritual guidance programs for listeners. As a writer he launched the books "God wants more of me" and "Moments of Spirituality".
Promoting devotion to the Scapular Virgin was one of the main highlights of Father Kleina's ministry.
Father Kleina is Citizen Benemérito of Paraná and has also received the following prizes: Pope John Paul II Prize, Pablo Neruda Human Rights Prize and "Merit" Prize Fernando Amaro.
