Quran (Quran) (Quran in Swahili)
The Qur'an (Arabic: القرآن) is a glorious book of Islam. The Qur'an is expected by the Muslims as "The Word of Allah (Allah)". This book is quite different from the writings of other religious books in that sense it is believed to have been directly written by Allah through His last Apostle Muhammad.
Languages and translations
It is written in Arabic only for more than 1,400 years.
According to the Qur'an (42: 8), God told Muhammad: "And thus have We revealed to you the Quran in Arabic to warn the people of Makkah and those who are beside him"
But, since today many Muslims in the world do not know Arabic, the real meaning of the Qur'an is derived from other languages, thus allowing readers to understand exactly what Arabic words in the Qur'an mean. These books are like a dictionary for the Quran - they are not considered as one of the parts of the Holy Quran and the Muslims, to be replaced by the Arabic Qur'an.
Many Muslims believe that the interpretation is not of the Holy Quran and is not true; It is only an Arabic copy presented in the true Quran.
The Muslims believe that the Holy Qur'an was given by the angel Jibrī in the cave of Mount Hira, for over twenty-three years until his death reached him.
The Holy Qur'an was not a book of Scripture during the life of the Prophet Muhammad; was set for silent communication only. Bimaana, people kept it on the head.
The Prophet probably did not know how to read or write, but according to the Muslims, his friend Abu Bekr was writing down the scriptures on something at that time when the prophet Muhammad is alive. When Abu Bekr came to be a khalifa, he brought the Quran into a sacred book.
Uthman, who is the third caliph, has removed elements that were not related to the Holy Qur'an.
Features, Shapes, Lines, Aya
There are 30 sections in the Qur'an, which make 114 chapters. Each chapter has a different number of lines.
According to Islamic training, 86 of these have fallen in Makkah, 24 of these have dropped out of Madina.
Among the chapters transmitted in Medina include Al-Baqara, Al-Imran, Al-Anfal, Al-Ahzab, Al-Ma'ida, An-Nisa, Al-Mumtahina, Az-Zalzala, Al-Hadid, Muhammad, Ar- Al-Rahman, At-Talaq, Al-Bayyina, Al-Hashr, An-Nasr, An-Nur, Al-Hajj, Al-Munafiqun, Al-Mujadila, Al-Hujraat, At-Tahrim, At- Taghabun, Al-Jumua, As-Saff, Al-Fath, At-Tawba, Al-Insan.
Relationship between the Quran and the Bible
In Quan, it is read that Jews and Christians also believe in the true God. These religions with Islam are called Abraham because of these relationships.
There are some pages of Qu'ran that describe the stories of people in the Bible. For example, the Bible characters mentioned in Quran include Adam, Noah, Abraham, Lot, Ishmael, Jacob, Joseph, Aaron, Moses, King David, Solomon, Elisha, Jonah, Job, Zechariah, John the Baptizer, the Virgin Mary with Jesus.
However, there are significant differences between Islam and the Bible version in describing the same kind of information. For example, Qu'ran glorifies that Jesus Christ is not the Son of God, as Christians do; for the Muslims, he was only a prophet, respected in the name of Isa bin Mary.
Islam teaches that this is because the original Bible texts have disappeared and so some people have changed them. But out of Qu'ran there is no proof of that doctrine.
