The Rheinbahn app offers you tickets for bus and train in the Düsseldorf area and for the entire Rhine-Ruhr transport association (VRR) as well as timetables and up-to-date information.
**Timetable information** Simply enter your route and the Rheinbahn app will find you the fastest connection by bus and train in Germany. If the location function (GPS) is activated, the app automatically uses your current location as the start or end point. Of course you can also enter stops, addresses or special places manually. The integrated map function helps you to find your way around - also for possible footpaths.
**Quick information** Create your frequently used connections as favorites. For example, save the location of your work or the fitness center and drag and drop the start or destination towards each other to start the timetable information.
**Departure monitor** The departure monitor shows you the next departures at the stop you have selected – taking into account real-time data and punctuality forecasts.
**Tickets** With the app you can buy tickets at any time - pay conveniently and without registration by prepaid or after a one-time registration by direct debit or credit card. In addition to the VRR tickets, you can also get VRS and NRW tickets in the Rheinbahn app.
Please note: If the start of validity cannot be set before purchasing a HandyTicket (query month/date/time), these tickets are valid immediately after purchase. The ticket must be presented on the mobile phone before entering the vehicles.
You can view your purchased tickets under "My tickets".
**Subscription** Do you have a YoungTicketPLUS subscription? You can transfer this subscription to the app and edit it there. The chip card is thus superfluous. Additional subscriptions are planned.
**Ticket favourites** You can also set your frequently used tickets as favourites. You can therefore purchase tickets more quickly under "Ticket Favorites" in the main menu.
**Traffic Info** Here you will find reports on delays, construction work or other obstacles that do not appear in the timetable in the Düsseldorf area and the entire Rhineland. In the "Traffic Info" area, you can create individual rules for push messages. You will automatically receive fault reports for selected lines and times.
**Lines and line network maps** All bus and train lines in Düsseldorf and the surrounding area can be called up individually and can also be viewed as a PDF view. Download the line network maps for Düsseldorf and the surrounding area conveniently onto your smartphone and easily find your way around the Rheinbahn network.
**Settings** You can set the timetable information, the departure monitor or tickets as the start page and change them at any time. There are also numerous personalization options in terms of accessibility, speed and means of transport.
**My Goals** In the main menu you can manage your most frequently used goals. Give each a name (e.g. work) and select the desired destination address. If you have marked a line with an asterisk under Traffic Info, you will see disruption reports in this personal area.
