RoTaxi Sofer is a customized application for taxi drivers at RoTaxi Brasov Romania Dispatch Center.
The application works together with the IndexDispatch program, which is a complex cloud-based taxi dispatching program. It incorporates analogue, digital and VOIP telephony components, such as the GPS data system - live monitoring; in turn, the program together with the client terminal application (RoTaxi Client) and the company's public site form a complete mechanism that allows:
A) client interconnection, direct or dispatched with the entire fleet served, in order to meet the request,
B) multiplying the communication channels of the dispatcher with the fleet served, the receiving station may become just a simple secondary or just back-up route for the current activity.
C) transformation of taxi dispatcher into call-center without the need for so much specialized personnel in the dispatching activity, as in the computer operation.
D) Facilitating the recruitment of the operating staff in view of the possibility of "home" dispatch work.
E) the maximum control over the correct distribution of orders to fleet cars according to their own rules.
F) very easy balancing of the number of operators with the demand on certain days, on hourly intervals, when there are predictions that it will grow massively, simply by logging in to the home operators.
G) depending on the infrastructure size, the system allows dispatching thousands of machines per user, eliminating total dependence on the number of transmission frequencies held.
All of this results in:
1) Improve the speed of localization of the machines
2) identifying the client's instance and its usual addresses when the receiver is lifted.
3) less time allocation of the order (between min.1s and average 7s)
4) easy driver guidance to the required boarding places
5) easy monitoring of order execution until completion
6) Optimizing the allocation of orders to fleet cars to minimize average waiting times and
of the distance traveled to customers.
7) Improving the quality of the service performed to the client, by personalizing it and its needs.
