The driving style app from Porsche Versicherung makes this possible. It records your driving behavior via GPS and translates it into a point system. If you drive carefully, your score increases and you benefit across the board:

What are the benefits of the driving style app?
🚗 As soon as you get into your car, open the driving style app and activate recording via Bluetooth, your driving behavior will be analyzed with regard to various parameters. If you always drive with foresight, the score will increase. If your score is between 96 and 100, you can be sure of a 20% reduction in comprehensive insurance for the coming month.
💶 But that's not the only way you'll have more money at the end of the month. Your anticipatory driving style reduces the maintenance costs for your vehicle. This is because certain components of the vehicle are spared if you drive carefully.
🏆 But that's not all: throughout the year we have various challenges for you, such as the "Smart Driver of the Year". This gives you the opportunity to win prizes such as €3,000 in cash. With the monthly challenges, you can secure one of three fuel vouchers worth €100 each month.
🌱 By the way, you help to make road traffic safer and protect the environment. This is because fast driving leads to increased fuel consumption and vehicle wear and tear. Avoiding such behavior also reduces local CO2 emissions.
How does the Smart Driver app work?
Once you've downloaded the app and registered, you're good to go.
📱 Switch on Bluetooth & open the app: In order for your journeys to be used for the premium reduction, there must be a Bluetooth connection to your vehicle. If you are unable to establish a Bluetooth connection on your smartphone, each journey must be started manually. To do this, press the "Start journey" button.
🥇 Drive carefully & get the credit: The more careful you drive, the more likely you are to get a high score. This means significant cost savings for you and an important contribution to safe traffic. A classic win-win situation.
The prerequisite for correct participation is that at least 5 trips totaling more than 150 kilometers are recorded within three active weeks per month. These participation criteria are considered a promotion and are limited until December 31, 2021. For each trip that you record, the following parameters are used for evaluation:
• Compliance with the maximum speed limit (outside Austria, the maximum speed is 130 km/h)
• Acceleration
• Braking maneuvers
• Time of day
• Type of road
• Speed in bends
• Road condition
How is the score calculated and when do you get it I mean premium reduction?
The total score is calculated as follows:

The booking is made between the 10th and 15th calendar day of the following month. You will receive the credit directly to your account. For amounts below EUR 3.00, the amount will be posted with the next payment.
