The LifeStyle app is the new modern way of hooking up with professionals like doctors, cleaners, plumbers, drivers. It also allows users to book for accommodation, hire lifeStyle rides within their specified radius.
This is how it works, after registration, you go to the main screen where you will see local professionals. You click on them to go to their profiles, That's where you can request, chat with the account owner.
If you choose to request, you will have to book for an appointment with the professional, specify time and date, location and even hours required. Once your request is sent, you will have to wait for the response from the professional.
For the vehicle part: Any user looking to make an extra income through his/her car can register with us, upload its photos and hourly rate then users around will be able to request for the car. Users will also have to specify their pick up location and pick up time.
The same principle also applies on accommodation, If you have your own room, full house, guest house, lodge etc and looking to make some cash with us. you can also upload your property and users around your property will be able to request for your property. This works just like Airbnb.
Here is how we charge:
We charge you a subscription amount of R350 per month and that's for your visibility and we add 15% of your rate per hour per service on top of your own rate. so if maybe you charge R1000 per hour, we then add R150 to make the total amount R1 150.
How do I get my money:
if your client chooses to use cash, you will receive the cash before attending to your work, we then subtract our 15% from your LifeStyle account. If your balance goes to negative, we allow you to work for 7 days then you will have to pay the amount due.
Else if your client chooses card payment, the total amount will be credited to our LifeStyle bank account and you will have to place a withdrawal request anytime when you want.
How safe is the app ?
Well there is no app which is entirely safe but we have tried to put some measurements to make sure you transact safely like. We require all users to submit their ID, selfie photo and facebook link, we then assess the user and verify or delete the account. If the user has been verified the profile will tell. Note only users with verified account will be able to use cash payment method to avoid misunderstandings. If you get a request from an unverified user, you can reject the request.
