Betondorp is a neighborhood with history and with a special architecture and design. The streets, sidewalks and squares in the neighborhood are being laid out again so that they look beautiful and passable again.
We do the major maintenance in three phases. The work in phase 1 (the area between the Zaaiersweg, the Veeteeltstraat, the Brinkstraat and the Middenweg) is finished.
The work in phase 2 and 3 (the area between the Veeteeltstraat, the Brinkstraat, the Middenweg, Onderlangs and the Duivendrechtselaan) is expected to start in October 2018.
The work starts at the Brink and continues via the Veeteeltstraat towards the Middenweg. The contractor (Van Gelder) informs residents and entrepreneurs by letter when work is in their street.
The whole project lasts until 2021. That is a long period, but when it is ready, the public space can take years.
