We fixed several issues related to app internal protocols and are working on optimizing the battery usage of the app.
We disabled sounds on fullscreen advertisements, improved the app design and made lots of other improvements!
The last release contained some features still in development. This release takes that back and should make everything work as expected again.

This new version of the wetter.com App can automatically adjust the appearance to the system appearance on Android 10. This is active for new installations. If you already had the App installed before the update, you can select how the App should look like at "Menu → Settings → Choose a Theme". You will find a light and a dark version but also the option to follow the system setting there.
NEW:
- Rain radar show both now, rain and snow
- Now you can easily choose between the different map types
- The new legend shows you the meaning of the map colors
IMPROVED
- With the better resolution of the cards you can now see even smaller details
- When zooming out of Germany, the view is automatically changed and you can see the map of Europe
- Location names are now displayed in better quality and are therefore always easy to read
We improved our ad free purchase and renamed it to wetter.com PREMIUM.
All PREMIUM users now get, in addition to removing the ads, three weather icon sets to choose from. PREMIUM is now also available as a handy subscription.
- The radar progress bar is moving again
- Radar preview now also supports pull to refresh
- Locations that are not available anymore will be marked accordingly in the location list
- Fixed some edge cases when a manually added location matched the automatic location
- Fixed a crash in the weather warnings
- Fixed an issue where videos would continue to play in rare cases when the app was closed
- Links to mail addresses (for example in the imprint) are now working
The app better handles when Google Play Services had their permissions revoked.
This updated fixes numerous issues, among them some crashes and repaired our fog weather icon. We also reenabled a hint for pollen information for new users and make the pollen forecast available as its own tab for German locations.

Bugfixes.
New weather icons! We also built the app with Android 9 which causes some changes in the widget update behavior. The widget will update depending on your device and Android version or when you manually update it. Read more about that in the widget settings.

The hourly forecast now fits on the screen again, even with increased font size.
We are working on making the App's data more current and updating it faster. This update takes the first, big steps in this direction, more will follow. We are looking forward to your feedback.
We fixed an issue that prevented push notifications from being received. We also improved our radar preview and extended it into the future (nowcast).

Some last bugfixes before release. This version will soon be published to the Play Store.
Contextual information is now displayed for your location and informs you about relevant weather situations. We also cleaned up the design in many places and fixed all the bugs that showed their heads.
This update improves our video and livecam integration with recommendations, auto play, persisted progress and more! It also introduces a new overview for weather warnings and fixes some bugs - including the issue where deleted locations would not stay deleted!
We fixed some crashes and other bugs. We also made preparations for an upcoming new warnings section. Last but not least we updated the third party library for push notifications again to improve stability of this feature.
