Marat and Zhenya Sviridova release a joint 3PLET album "IRIS"
For the first time the musician and photographer act as equal co-authors of the album. Synthesis of two arts became possible due to the growing popularity of the 3PLET format. The EP-album "Irises" included five songs, visuals to which were photographs from the photographer's extensive archive, including filming from concerts and backstage. The creative and human union of the two authors was made possible through a unified view of the world and the mediation of new technologies.
For Zhenya Sviridova, photography from a young age was a favorite hobby. But only years later the master of microelectronics, who had worked in a number of large international companies, realized that she wanted to be professionally engaged in only those things that she really enjoyed. And she entered the journalism faculty of Moscow State University, where she received a diploma in photojournalism. Zhenya in his work prefers concert shooting and is a recognized master of his craft. She successfully collaborates with such musical groups as Chaif, Accident, Bravo and Moral Code. One of the main sources of inspiration, the photographer calls the work of the cult photo-portraitist Greg Gorman and the legendary Annie Leibovitz.
"What she does, you can not sign - she has an absolutely recognizable style; and yet - she is the best concert photographer, "- says a colleague of Marat.
Marat's career as a successful stage manager preferred music lessons. But, as befits a true professional, he approached the matter with all seriousness. In the work on the material, he collaborates with high-class masters, including musicians of the groups "Untouchables" and "Bi-2". For arrangements and sounding, the sound producer of the group "Okean Elzy" Vitaliy Telesin answers. The title track of the album is written on the melody of the world hit "Pazzo Di Lei" by the magnificent Biagio Antonacci. However, it is rather just a tribute to the beloved singer. Traditionally, Marat himself writes melodies and lyrics of his compositions, defining their style as "Italian-rock".
"He does in the songs what I see in photography - he talks about love, beauty and joy; it's very easy for us together, "Zhenya says about Marat.
The release is timed to coincide with Valentine's Day 2014.
