Tafsir Ibn Katheer for Imam Hafez Ibn Katheer (d. 774 AH) is one of the most important and famous of what is not mentioned in the traditional interpretation. The most important features of the interpretation of Ibn Katheer [edit]
Imam Ibn Katheer chose the best ways in interpreting the Holy Quran, such as the narration of the exponents of the Salaf, the interpretation of the Qur'aan, the interpretation of the Qur'aan in the Sunnah, the hadiths and the implications attributed to its authors. Ibn Katheer the language and its sciences .. and took care of the criticism and the interest and the attention of the readings and reasons for descent.

Ibn Katheer presented his book with a long and important introduction, in which he presented many matters related to the Holy Quran and its interpretation. But most of this introduction is taken from the words of Shaykh Ibn Taymiyah, who mentioned it in his introduction to the fundamentals of interpretation. The verse is mentioned .. And then respond to the statements of the Companions and followers and those who follow the scholars of the predecessor.
We find a son of many is likely some statements on some .. And weaken some of the novels .. And correct some of them .. And adjust some of the novels and injure another .. This is due to the knowledge of the art of modern and men.
Ibn Kathir's approach can be summarized in his "interpretation" in three steps:
The first is the adoption of the interpretation of the Koran on the adorable; it first explains the verse in another verse, which is in this very careful, and the most extreme in the narration of verses proportionate in one sense. Then he begins to narrate the ahaadeeth related to the verse to be interpreted, and it indicates what is accepted from those hadiths and what is not accepted.
