About the author of the book:
He is the Hafiz, the jurist, Sayyid Ahmad ibn Zayni Dahlan al-Hasani al-Hashimi al-Qurashi al-Makki, the imam of the Two Holy Mosques, the Shafi’i mufti, the jurist and the sheikh of the scholars of Hijaz in his era at the end of the Ottoman caliphate.
