A leaping church for spiritual maturity and church growth
Our New York Meetings Church is located in Flushing Northern 170, Queens, New York, and is part of the Korean American Presbyterian Church (KAPC) following the historic Reformist (Calvinist) theology, and the presbytery is part of the New York Presbytery.
We meet in New York about 30 years ago in January, 1985. In January 1985, a small group of pastor Lee Seung-keun, his family, Lee Kang-hee, and two newcomers gathered from the pastor's house and started to worship in the first week of October I was officially launched in the world as an established worship service. Twenty years after Pastor Lee Seung-geun ministered for 10 years and then became a second pastor of New York after receiving the call of God in December 1995, I spent the thirtieth anniversary of the church establishment in October 2015 .
If you are short and long, if you are short, you have been sent to Korea for more than 30 years. Of course, there was a lot of joy and excitement with him. In retrospect, it was a time and a time when a moment could not continue without the grace of God. Now, another 30 years, all of our fellow Koreans are working hard to renew the New York City church as a church-like church, a healthy church, and a holy church with renewed determination and determination.
The Reformed Church, which we are meeting with New York Church, is the three markings of the Church: 1) faithful proclamation of the Word of God, 2) fair practice of the sacraments (baptism and the sacrament), and 3) sincere conduct of discipline. The church must declare the Word of God (the gospel and the law) through worship, perform the sacrament of baptism and the sacrament properly, and conduct discipline to preserve the purity and holiness of the Church I will. In order to achieve such a church-like church and a true church, we need to meet with New York and share the life with the church's permanent motto and seek a change of life. 1) Community of Truth 2) Community of Love 3) And we will continue to carry out the holy will of God in the church and in the world.
I specifically set the church theme for the New York meeting of the year 2016 as maturity and growth, spiritual maturity and church growth, and as all the saints resemble Jesus Christ and mature to the fullness of Christ's fullness, We hope to lead to growth. 1. Meet New York The shape of the booklet at the bottom of the Church Sign (Mark) refers to God's Word, the "Bible." This Bible symbolizes the community of truth in our New York meeting or church slogan.
