An excellent alternative to pasture trails are
the paths along the Polish-Ukrainian border provided by the Bieszczady National Park. Their gentle
course in the valley of the upper San makes them accessible to everyone. Everyone will find something
for themselves here, such as discovering history, listening to the voices and observing wild nature and contemplating landscapes far from civilization, among which a beautiful view of the pastures - Kińczyk, Rozsypaniec, Halicz, Krzemień and Bukowy Berd
opens up again and again . Here we also have the opportunity to commune with wild animals, watching the work of beavers on the local dams, or listening to the voices of the ubiquitous corncrakes or watching
species richness of butterflies. It happens that a wolf, a lynx or
a bear crossed our path, leaving imprints. We will also have the opportunity to admire
the wild and picturesque bends of the San River, as well as look out for life on the Ukrainian side, where
cows graze in the old way, sometimes a train will pass or the bells of nearby
churches will ring.
On the Polish side, however, only hidden traces remain of the former inhabitants of the local villages , which will be helped by a prepared guide in the form
of an application.
The application was made as part of the micro-project entitled: The world of nature and culture of the
Eastern Carpathians - joint promotion - better protection ", co-financed by the EU from
European Regional Development Fund and the state budget through
the Carpathian Euroregion as part of the Interreg VA PL-
SK 2014-2020 Cross-border Cooperation Programme.
