➤ The part of the VAT that must be returned for the goods (except for oil and gas products) purchased by consumers who are individuals from persons engaged in retail trade or public catering activities in Azerbaijan is set at 17.5% for non-cash payments and 5% for cash payments.
➤ You can create your electronic cabinet by setting a password after entering the 'FIN' code of your identity document and your mobile phone number, date of birth, as well as the one-time password sent to your mobile phone number during the registration process. Only persons over the age of 16 can register on the portal.
➤ The check must be added to the portal for refund of the edv amount within 90 days from the date of issue.
➤ After 30 days, the check will be reflected in your electronic cabinet, 17.5% of the edv amount for non-cash payments, 5% for cash payments.
➤ You can transfer the EDV redemption amount collected in the electronic cabinet to payment cards issued by domestic banks or use it by making various payments (mobile, utility, internet, TV, etc.).
➤ When the goods are exchanged for goods with a lower price, the amount to be refunded must be deducted from the amount to be refunded, in proportion to the price difference between the originally purchased goods and the exchanged goods, by deducting the amount of the returned goods. When the goods are exchanged for goods of higher value, the VAT amount is refunded on the price difference between the originally purchased goods and the exchanged goods.
➤ The amount of VAT paid for the goods listed below is not returned:
- oil and gas products;
- cars;
- alcoholic beverages;
- tobacco products;
