Simple and secure, the Monetico Mobile solution transforms your phone or tablet into a payment tool. Go to your nearest Crédit Mutuel credit union to subscribe to the service.
Just use it to associate with the mobile application a credit card reader, which connects wirelessly via Bluetooth to your mobile device.
In use, the payment experience is similar to that of traditional payment terminals (TPEs):
1. Launch your Monetico Mobile digital cash register application and enter the payment details to be made.
2. The consumer inserts his credit card into the Monetico Mobile reader. The amount is transferred to the reader, the customer enters his secret code safely and confidentiality and validates the payment request.
3. The transaction is then routed via the mobile network to the bank servers for processing. All data transmitted by the reader is encrypted to ensure the security of the transaction.
4. An electronic payment receipt for the transaction can then be communicated by SMS or email to the consumer.
The Monetico Mobile app also allows you to:

Compatible phones:
The app works with Android phones from version 2.3.
We have found some Bluetooth incompatibilities with some phones with OS 2.3.6 (Galaxy Ace, Galaxy Y ...) we do not recommend subscribing to the service if you own these phones.
Permissions:
To exploit all the functionalities of the service the application will ask you the following permissions:
• Take Photos and Videos: this allows you to associate a photo to a transaction (the product sold for example)
• GPS position: to geolocate your payments.
• Read Google Services Configuration - to view a Google Maps with the geolocation of the payment.
• Full Internet access: the service requests authorization from the bank to process the transaction, for this a 3G / 4G / WIFI connection is necessary.
• Create Bluetooth connections: The phone communicates via Bluetooth with the card reader.
• Bluetooth settings: to check if you have enabled Bluetooth on your smartphone or tablet.
• Prevent the phone from going into sleep mode: used only during a transaction.
