Jatakaya (Birth or Abhidharma) is the 10th volume of the Sutra.
According to the Jàtaka in Pali, there are 547 stories (Jàtaka I, p. 596). But, in the English translation of 550 words, divided into 22 chapters (Nipàta). This classification is largely based on the number of shelves (chickens) in each case. For example, chapter one has 150 stories, each story has a verse. Chapter Two contains 100 stories, each story has two verses. Chapter three, chapter four, each chapter consists of 50 stories, each with three and four verses. Up to the twenty-first chapter there are 5 stories, each with 80 verses. Twenty-two chapters have 10 stories, with some more shelves. Each Jàtaka consists of four parts:
1) PACCUPPANNA-VATTHU: The present story, a story that is considered to have occurred during the Buddha's time, should be called the present story, and because of this story, the Buddha tells a past tale.
2) ATITAVATTHU: A story of the past, related to the characters of the present story. In the story of the past, there is always the presence of the Bodhisattva (the forerunner of the Buddha) in a certain role. There are one or more verses, when spoken by the Bodhisattva, when spoken by the Buddha, largely in the form of a moral teaching.
3) VEYYAKARANA: Explain verse or some noun in past tense.
4) SAMODHA: In combination, the Buddha combines two present and past patterns, sometimes adding a sermon, the result of that post, and finally the identification of the Fourth, indicating the relationship between the main characters of the past and present.

We must, however, confirm that this Jataka Buddhist literature has had a great impact on the spread of Buddhism, in the past as well as in the present, in India as well as outside India. but also in the field of art, architecture, people's social life, etc.
First of all, some Jataka stories are engraved on sculptures in temples, stupas such as in Sanchi, in Amaravati, especially in Bharhut, India. There, the names of Jataka are clearly carved. Today, some sculptures are still kept intact at the monuments of Buddhism in India. These sculptures show that the story of precursors was very much known in the third century before the era. Fa-Hien, the Chinese venerable, visited Sri Lanka in the fourth century after the Epoch, witnessed at the Abhayagiri Temple, the performance of five hundred Buddha's predecessors, when he was a Bodhisattva, in the form of elephants, deer, etc. We, while in Sri Lanka, on Vesak day witnessed the huge Pandal, about the Jataka stories to the people to see and admire. And at these Pandals, there are also Jataka plays. Thus, the Buddha's Birthday in Sri Lanka was the day when a great number of people went from Pandal to Pandal, attending the ceremony, watching Jataka plays; People play one night in the big festival. These stories are also used as the subject of sermon on the occasion, the people to listen to the night, listen to the monks Sri Lankan story of the predecessor Jàtaka without being tired.
Another influence that these stories bring, especially animal stories, sometimes crosses the religious boundaries of India and becomes folk tales, half myths, half realities, no. depends on this religion or country. We believe that there are some Vietnamese tales that are rooted in these Jataka stories, such as the Cam Pha. These fairy tales have become the common heritage of folklore, reflecting the normal qualities of the people, under every horizon, in the daily lives of the people, in the face of what good, or bad of life. Therefore, these Jataka are very popular, not only in the Buddhist circles but also spread throughout the country, all ethnic groups.
