Lena Merhej is one of the creators and promoters of Lebanese magazine Samandal, pioneer in the panorama of Arab comics and indispensable piece to understand the outbreak of the sector in the last ten years. This is his first graphic novel, consisting of a dozen stories about the life of his German mother in Lebanon, originally published in Samandal between 2008 and 2010.
