Imam Bukhari started his compilation of this book in Haram Sharif of Makkah at the age of 23 at the age of 217 AH. After 16 years, after the completion of 233 AH, the compilation was completed. During the compilation of Bukhari Sharif, he used to fast every day, and before the introduction of each hadith, bathing two rak'ahs, Nafl salat would be confirmed about the purity of the Hadith through murakaba and meditation.
