With KidiConnect® you stay connected to your child even when you are away from home.
With KidiConnect®, kids can share messages through a compatible VTech toy. All contacts must be approved by the parents before any communication can take place so that parents can always know their child in a child-safe environment.
NOTE: KidiConnect® is intended for communication with compatible VTech devices. You can not use the app to send messages to adults or children who do not have a compatible device.
WHY USE KIDICONNECT®?
• STAY IN CONTACT WITH YOUR CHILD.
KidiConnect® uses an Internet connection (WLAN) so you can communicate with your child even when you are away from home, anywhere in the world. Parents can also add other family members and friends to the child's contact list so grandparents can stay in touch with the child.
• CHILD-SAFE.
All contacts must be approved by parents before communication can take place. Users who are not in a child's contact list can not contact this child.
• FOR ALL AGES GROUPS.
Even younger children can use KidiConnect® to share voice messages, photos, drawings, stickers, or given voice messages. And if the child is older and can write, it can send text messages.
• GROUP CHAT.
In group chat, your child can communicate with different family members or friends at the same time.
• IT IS FUN!
You can personalize your KidiConnect® avatar with your photo or choose one of several cartoon characters. There are also funny stickers and pre-recorded news. Your child can also use the voice distorter to record a robot voice or a mouse voice.
USING KIDICONNECT®
Parents:
Please register your child's VTech device before downloading this app. This creates a Download Manager Family account that a parent can use to sign in to this app. This parent will be responsible for the child's contact list and can use the app to send or approve friend requests on behalf of the child.
The other parent must sign up for a separate Download Manager account and be added to the family group just like any other relative.
Relative:
You need to get your parents' approval before you can contact a child. Once you have registered for a Download Manager account, send a contact request to the child's parents to join their family group.
KidiConnect® is compatible with the KidiCom MAX and other VTech devices that support KidiConnect® or VTech Kid Connect®.
