Now to proceed: The sinful poor Yusuf bin Ismail al-Nabhani says: I thought about the many sins of my sins and the lack of my good deeds, so my affliction was magnified, and my fear overcame my hope. And the Beloved of the Lord of the Worlds, the Most High said: {And seek the means to Him} and He, peace and blessings be upon him, is the greatest of means and intermediaries to Him, and the best of creatures and the most beloved of them to Him, and here I have resorted to His honorable side, peace and blessings of God be upon him, and served Him with this collection that I gathered in the virtue of praying upon him, peace be upon him, and named it: “The best prayers upon the master
of Al-Sadat”
and made it into two parts and a conclusion, the first part in which I explain its virtue in general and its benefits.
And the second section in which I detail the subtleties of its modalities and its uniqueness, and I attribute each formula to its people, with the statement of its narrators and its virtues, and I have no merit in that, except for mere transmission, and I did not waste any effort in choosing the reliable books and their authors, and attributing all sayings to their authors.
