Stories of the prophets
In this book, Histories of the Prophets were compiled from the work entitled Al-Bidayah wan-Nihâyah (the beginning and the end), a great work of the famous exegesis and Muslim historian Ibn Kathir.
This book is a vast fresco, dedicated to the history of the universe, from the creation of the Throne "Arch" and the "Kursi" Seat, through the well-guarded Table "al-Lawh al-Mahfoûdh". heaven and earth, angels ... deals in an easy and pleasant style with the biographies of the Prophets and Messengers of God, from Adam to Jesus.
This work has established itself as a reference in the circles of Islam, for the knowledge of the life of the messengers of God both those who are quoted in the Koran and others.
Imam Abu al-Fidâ Imad ad-Din 'Ismā'îl' Ibn 'Omar' Ibn Kathîr al-Qorâchi al-Basrâwi was born in 701 hrs. in Mijdal, a village in the suburbs of Bosra, south of Damascus.
His father was a preacher.
He died while Ibn Kathir was four years old.
His brother, Sheikh 'Abd al-Wahab, took care of him and watched over his education.
He moved to Damascus in 706 h. when Ibn Kathir was five years old.
He has written several books including: The famous exegesis known as "Tafsir 'Ibn Kathir".
This book is one of the best books based on the various techniques of exegesis.
The famous history book known as "al-Bidâya wa an-Nihâya".
The biography of the prophet as-Sira an-Nabawiyya "under the name of" al-Fousul fi 'Ikhtisan Sirat ar-Rasul ".
He died in Damascus in 774 h.
